NTX Access V2™ applications provide automated access, accounting and billing
control services for almost any network and utility services
and applications. With NTX Access V2™ you can
utilize the power of the Internet browser and ease
of management and scalability of Microsoft© Windows® NT 4, 2000 or XP.
Features Include:
- Open Database (ODBC) design allows you to implement the most appropriate back-end database for your needs. You can leverage the power of your database to integrate with other applications such as backup and e-mail.
- NTX Access V2 applications can be administered from any DOM Level 2 compliant browser (IE6, Netscape 7, etc.) with a secure connection.
- NTX Consumer applications provide customizable web-portals into Account Management, Reporting and Sign-up services
- NTX Billing Control Services automates the process of generating and sending invoices to Accounts. Virtually any type of service can be metered (internet, electric, water, gas, telephony, broadband, etc) in many units of measurement.
- NTX Charge Services allows you to scan NCSA, W3C Extended, CDR and other records and charge for usage.
- NTX Debit Services integrates with EFT applications to automatically debit an Account.
- Business objects are multi-threaded, C++ applications
- Web Applications have JavaScript and Java front-ends
- Customizable reports using Crystal Reports

| Access Control Server | NTX Access Control Services provides high performance Authentication, Access and Accounting (AAA) services via RADIUS. With NTX Access Control Services you can use the power of templates and rules-based processing to customize your network service configurations. You can also implement rule and name proxies to other services such as a Windows NT Domain or i-Pass. |
| Billing Control Server | NTX Billing Control Services makes it easy to establish service plans. You can specify multiple levels of service usage, time-of-day rates, discount and taxation rules. You can automatically generate, print and e-mail invoices and reports based on service usage (e.g. time and / or bandwidth, type of service). The Enterprise Edition also supports point-of-sale and online shopping interfaces for inventory items and services. |
| Charge Control Server | NTX Charge Control Services allows you to automatically import metered usage data from external log files (i.e. NCSA, W3C, ftp, web and other server logs) for billing and tracking purposes. You can also import NT Audit logs for session and other data. |
| Debit Control Server | NTX Debit Control Services automatically debits your accounts upon billing via an external EFT application (e.g. IC Verify). The Debit Control Server exports the debiting information and reads the subsequent response file for the transactions. |
Below is a diagram of all the NTX Access V2™ components. While the components are shown individually, they can be installed on the same physical machine or in any combination.

- 128Mb RAM minimum (256Mb recommended with billing services)
- 40Mb free disk space minimum

- Workstations can use any DOM Level 2 compliant browser (IE 6sp1, Netscape 7, Mozilla 1.6)
