- What hardware does NTX Access Support?
NTX Access supports all RADIUS compliant hardware. Some hardware may support vendor-specific attributes that
may not be in our current catalog. If you find that to be the case, please notify
support and we can usually update the catalog within 1 business day.
- What Operating Systems does NTX Access support?
NTX Access runs on Microsoft® Windows NT Service Pack 6 Workstation and Server versions,
all versions of Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. Future versions may also support LINUX.
- What are the hardware requirements for NTX Access?
The minimum hardware for a single machine installation is a Pentium® or AMD K5® processor with 128Mb RAM and
at least 100Mb free disk space. The recommended minimum is a Pentium® II or AMD Athlon® with 256Mb RAM and 200Mb free disk space.
- What is the upgrade policy for NTX Access?
All minor version upgrades can be downloaded free of charge. Major version upgrades can purchased at a discounted price.
Typically major version upgrades are released every 2-3 years to help you protect your investment. Minor version upgrades
are released as new features are added or problems are discovered.
- Are e-mail questions actually answered?
Yes! We prefer e-mail because it allows you to specify your problem in detail and allows our support personnel mobility.
Most responses occur within 1 business day and often on weekends as well. Be sure to be specific about your problem and
Operating System version including service packs applied.
- I have a mission critical installation. What if I need support at odd hours?
You can purchase a 24x7 support package that allows you to contact an engineer at any time and schedule assistance
with an upgrade during off hours.
- Why can't I use my "hotmail" account to request support?
Our mail server does not allow e-mail from most "hotmail" accounts due to their propensity for spamming.
Other well-known spam sources are also blocked.
