• If you are installing to Windows 2000 or XP, you should apply the most recent Service Pack.
• You must have IIS4 or greater installed for the Administrator and Consumer Web applications
• IE 5.x or greater is recommended for the Administrator Web application
• You should be using Microsoft Management Console (MMC) v1.1 or greater
• If you plan on using an MS Access® database in a distributed environment (not recommended), you may want to download the MSDE from Microsoft.

• If you are installing to Windows NT 4, you must have Microsoft Data Access Components 2.5 (MDAC) or greater installed.
• Windows NT4 Service Pack 6a or greater is recommended, at least service pack 5 is required. 
• If you do not have Internet Explorer 3.x or greater or IIS2.x or greater installed with the NTXacsServer service, you may need to download AXDIST.EXE to obtain Microsoft's run-time libraries for internet services.
